Workout plan for a busy schedule

A workout plan for weeks that don't go to plan

Long day at work, a sick kid, a late flight. PEAKD! gives every session a smaller size, so a busy day shrinks the workout instead of cancelling it.

Why busy people quit workout plans

Most plans assume the same free hour every day. The first time life takes that hour, the plan is broken, and one skipped day turns into a skipped week.

PEAKD! is built the other way round. It asks about your real schedule up front, and it gives you a choice every single day.

Pick the size that fits today

Every task in your plan comes in three versions.

  • Main: the full session, for days with time.
  • Lite: about 15 to 20 minutes of the key movements.
  • Survival: a small promise, like 10 squats and a five-minute walk.
  • Mix them in one day if you like, a Lite warm-up and a Main core session is fine.
  • Any size keeps your daily streak going.

Tell it what got in the way

When you can't do a task, tap "Can't do this?" and pick from 12 plain reasons, from no time to something hurt. No guilt screen. The reason is used when your next week is planned.

At the weekly stand-up you see what got done and fill in the gaps, and next week is rebuilt from what really happened. A hard week gets a lighter week after it.

Small things that save time

  • Choose your start date, today or any day in the next week.
  • Reminders for training and meals run on your own timezone, with quiet hours you set.
  • Log a session in a few taps, or just tell the coach what you did.
  • Tap the mic and speak instead of typing.
Questions

Straight answers

How short can a workout be and still count?
The Survival size of a task is deliberately tiny, for example 10 squats and a five-minute walk. Doing it counts for the day, the same as a full session.
Can the plan fit only three days a week?
You describe your real schedule during setup and the plan is written around it. If your week changes, tell the coach or explain at the weekly stand-up, and the next week follows.
What if I miss a whole week?
Do the stand-up and say what happened. After a hard week the plan eases off so you can restart without a pile of catch-up work.
Does a day count if I only log my meals?
Yes. One workout action or one diet action keeps your streak alive, so checking off a meal on a rest day still counts.
